Jane & Mark –
Great Tool. Really helped us to work through our design ideas for our renovation together and get down on paper.

I would recommend Karen and dwellbeing for projects both big and small because (1) She is flexible in terms of packages and services (2) Her process is human centered and bespoke (3) Fantastic results and (4) She is a genuine pleasure to work with
I discovered Karen and dwellbeing on instagram and was drawn to her design ethos. I actually started out by purchasing her book and really got an even better sense of how she approaches design.
My partner and I had recently committed to purchasing a new build, for context it is a “cookie cutter” house part of a larger development. We wanted to make our investment and home work for us, and do it right, despite our modest budget.
Karen listened to be and we figured out deliverables that were bespoke to us (support with flow of house, heavy help with kitchen design and kitchen builder selection, heavy help with electrical/lighting on ground floor, and helping me work with builder to get a larger bath into the design). She was amazing working with me and my partner and acting as a third party to help us align and find the language and common ground to make our ground floor really work for us. For example, this included helping us figure out the floor plan of the kitchen and utility, ensuring a good quiet spot for me to read, and space for my partners gear bag (ha!).
The result is that I am getting closer to a bespoke home, despite not actually undergoing the pain or price of a truly bespoke home! She not only provided plans and visions (helpful for the builder and myself) but I had the confidence, vision, and language to work with the builder separately and manage “smaller” items like paint selection. My house is going to feel like my own, and the process was so much less painful with Karen! As an added benefit, it really helped my partner thinking through what he wanted in a home and space, and included him in the design and feel – something that would of been challenging to do on my own.
I can’t recommend her enough. She really is a wonderful and unique entity in this space!
