Downsizing

When we were asked to go on a journey to convert existing stables into a home for two downsizers in a picturesque working farm we jumped at the chance. The downsizing brief was to create a home that stayed true to the existing stable structure with high ceilings and a blend of the old and new. A spacious two-bedroom home was created with a large open plan kitchen, living and dining area and the old stables were designed as retreat and quiet sleeping spaces.
